Within the framework of the project "Autonomization and Strengthening the Resilience of Vulnerable Women in the City of Uvira", AFRICARINTHIA NGO, an essential partner of the RDC-ANTS, carried out in Luvungi a project to empower the resilience of vulnerable populations to improve their ability to take charge of their development and to cope with the difficulties they face. Empowerment enables individuals and communities to acquire the knowledge, skills and skills necessary to actively participate in decisions that affect their lives. It promotes social inclusion, economic independence and access to fundamental rights.

Building resilience involves building the capacity of vulnerable people to prevent, absorb, adapt and recover from shocks and crises, whether they are of economic, social, health, climate or security origin. This includes improving livelihoods, access to education, health care, social protection and community support networks.

Together, these approaches contribute to reducing vulnerability, promoting sustainable development and strengthening the dignity, well-being and autonomy of populations most at risk and at risk.

All these projects are funded by Carinthian Government Austria.
